Mr. Jacob Sanabria-Student Board Member
Jacob Sanabria is a 7th grade student at East Whittier Middle School. He was appointed as EWCSD’s first Student Board Member and will serve in the 2022-2023 school year. Jacob is an accomplished student and has made the honor roll multiple times. When he was promoted from Evergreen Elementary, he received the President’s Award, the most prestigious fifth grade honor. He has also served on the Student Council and has been a GATE student. In the future, Jacob would like to attend college and start a career as an Engineer or Astronaut for NASA. Beyond the classroom, Jacob participates in Boy Scouts, where he has embraced a leadership role. In his free time, Jacob likes to travel to San Diego and go on camping trips in the mountains.
