Brooke Hernandez-Student Board Member
Brooke Hernandez is an 8th grader at East Whittier Middle School. Born and raised in Whittier, she attended Mulberry Elementary for the primary years. Brooke has been chosen to be EWCSD’s third Student Board Member, where she will serve this role in the 2024-2025 school year. Outside of school, Brooke enjoys reading, writing, acting, and spending time with friends and family. A big passion of hers is musical theater. In sixth grade, Brooke made her debut on the stage as The Narrator in Into the Woods Jr. In seventh grade, she starred in Singin in the Rain Jr. as Ms. Lina Lamont. As time goes on, she hopes to be in more musical productions. Brooke intends to have a positive impact on the District with this new opportunity.
