SUN Bucks

We’re excited to share that SunBucks applications are now available online!

SunBucks (also known as Summer EBT, previously P-EBT) is a new program that helps families buy groceries during the summer months when school meals are not available. Families may receive $120 per eligible child to use at grocery stores.

Some families automatically qualify if they are already enrolled in CalFresh, CalWORKs, or Medi-Cal. If you do not automatically qualify, you can still apply online through EZMealApp.com.

 Important:

• Apply by September 2, 2025 to receive benefits for Summer 2025.

• Completing the income survey on the student registration portal will not qualify for the Sun Bucks program.  A sunbucks application must be completed in order to determine if the child/family is eligible to receive Sunbucks Summer EBT.
