The East Whittier City School District Nutrition Services Department is a team of dedicated professionals committed to providing safe, nutritious, and appealing meals in a welcoming environment that supports every student's health, well-being, and academic success. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive, and that good nutrition is the foundation for lifelong success.

We take pride in preparing wholesome, balanced meals that meet or exceed state and federal nutrition standards based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. By offering a variety of delicious and nutritious choices, we encourage healthy eating habits while meeting the diverse needs of our students.

Through California's Universal Meals Program, every student receives one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day, ensuring all children have equitable access to the nourishment they need to stay focused, energized, and ready to learn.
