The mission of the Personnel Department is to hire and retain the best-qualified employees to ensure a high quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. The Personnel Department has a dedicated, kind and compassionate staff mindful about providing efficient and effective services to our employees, to prospective employees and the East Whittier Community. The Personnel Department is responsible for employee recruitment and selection, employment, credentialing, transfer, promotion, lay-off, separation processes, health and welfare benefits, workers' compensation and salary schedules.
